On Sunday June 2 — Republic day in Italy — Pope Francis celebrated Mass in the morning for a group of 80 people, led by the Military Ordinariate of Italy. The group included the relatives of Italian soldiers killed in peacekeeping missions, as well as a number of wounded soldiers.
