Pope Francis: Middle East peace, help for refugees

Peace for the Middle East. This is what Pope Francis appealed for in his address to participants of the Reunion of Aid Agencies to the Oriental Churches (ROACO) which was concluding its plenary session in the Vatican. During his address he also spoke of the situation in Syria and of the predicament of refugees.

We believers – the Pope said — are called to pray constantly and trust in the Lord so that He may grant the longed-for peace, as well as compassion and acts of concrete solidarity.
