Pope Francis: bishops and priests faithful to the Gospel

Pray for bishops and priests, who must watch over their people and yet are exposed to the temptation of money and vanity. This was Pope Francis’ invitation in his homily at Mass Wednesday morning. The Pope suggested those present take a moment from their day, and open the New Testament, on the Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 20, verse 28-38. He said “read this fine text and in reading it, pray, pray for us bishops and priests. We truly need this to stay faithful to be men who watch over our flock and also ourselves, men who keep watch, whose hearts are always turned towards their flock.
