Francis at Castel Gandolfo: “Open the doors to hope”

“We must always be a sign of hope and peace at this time. Open the doors to hope, so that hope may flourish, and always be operative in making peace, always! ”
This is what Pope Francis said to employees of the Pontifical Villas whom he met this morning in the courtyard of the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo, together with bishop Semeraro of Albano and the mayor of the town in the Alban Hills that for four centuries has been home to the summer residence of the popes.
